Yes—in almost every state! Only Connecticut, Maryland, and New York have unique CE rules, so if you live in one of these states, we recommend checking with your state board of nursing directly.
We’re an approved provider through the Florida Board of Nursing (CE Broker #50-40684), and our CE credits are accepted by the ANCC for the cardiac-related CE hours required to take the ANCC Cardiac-Vascular Nursing Certification (CV-BC™) exam.
Can I apply these CE hours toward more than one certification or renewal?
In many cases, yes! Check with your state board or certifying body to confirm, but most allow CE hours to count toward both license renewal and specialty certifications.

How do I find out if I am eligible to take the ANCC Cardiac-Vascular Nursing Certification (CV-BC™) exam?
Go directly to the ANCC website and review their requirements. At the time of writing this, the requirements include:
- Hold a current, active RN license in a state or territory of the United States or hold the professional, legally recognized equivalent in another country
- Have practiced the equivalent of 2 years full-time as a registered nurse
- Have a minimum of 2,000 hours of clinical practice in cardiac-vascular nursing within the last 3 years
- Have completed 30 hours of continuing education in cardiac-vascular nursing within the last 3 years
